Resources For Pediatric Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons
At University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s, we strive to advance knowledge in the field of pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgery. Our plastic surgeons are constantly looking for new and better ways to care for young patients, with improved diagnostics and surgical techniques and patient outcomes.
Leading the way in pediatric plastic surgery innovation is our research efforts and medical education opportunities.
Research
Our research efforts, including clinical trials, are aimed at improving care for craniofacial conditions such as cleft palate, hemangiomas, vascular anomalies and more. In addition, our clinical faculty serve as teachers at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and School of Dentistry.
Plastic Surgery Residency Program
Our department is dedicated to educating the next generation of pediatric plastic surgeons through our comprehensive plastic surgery residency program. This program is designed to train residents in surgical techniques and provide them with a broad understanding in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
