Patient Experience Reviews
Felt very comfortable with Dr. Sankari
Good
Excellent provider, very knowledgeable and helpful.
Dr. Sankari is a good listener and compassionate person who can focus on your problems with a pat on the back for your efforts to follow her (and other physicians) direction. She never seems to be in a rush to get to the next patient. Her office is quiet and comforting.
This was my first visit to this doctor; my primary physician referred me due to my cat scan results. I really liked Dr. Layla Sankari and felt very comfortable with her.
Dr. Sankari is an excellent doctor-expert, caring, listens, explains, helps and accommodates as is the entire pulmonary staff. I can count on them to provide timely and excellent care and am very grateful for that.
Excellent care
Dr. Sankari provided professional, prompt, and courteous care. She is quite knowledgeable and I am honored to be her patient.
I saw the provider about something that came up on a scan that another provider had ordered. This provider spent a lot of time asking me questions as we tried to figure out together what could have caused the anomaly. She ordered appropriate follow-up tests and I felt that she was concerned about me, and was a good listener.
Awesome app
Dr. Sankari is an excellent doctor. She is a great listener, accommodating and respectful, clear, direct, expert and caring. She inspires trust. The department staff is very kind, thoughtful, and responsive. They have provide quick access to effective medical help when it is needed
I always have a good experience with my provider.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Layla Sankari did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
