Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship

University Hospitals Urology Institute, in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University, offers the Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. Each year, we train one female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery fellow, alternating annually between urology and gynecology candidates. Urologists are required to complete two years of training, while gynecologists complete three years of training.

As a female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery fellow, you will be exposed to a variety of clinical problems, large patient volume, and the full breadth of pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. You will work alongside a diverse group of fellowship-trained faculty in the following areas:

  • Colorectal surgery
  • Female urology
  • Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
  • Neurology
  • Physical therapy
