How to Apply for the Community Psychiatric NP Fellowship Program
Applications for the Community Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Fellowship are accepted throughout the year. The majority of spring graduate fellows start during the summer. December graduates are considered for wintertime start dates.
Email the following items to Kate Proehl DNP, PMHCNS:
- Letter of introduction briefly describing your interest in the fellowship and your graduation date.
- CV or resume
Eligible candidates will be given a phone interview and then referred to participating fellowship clinic sites. Candidates hired by a participating clinic will be enrolled in this fellowship. NP fellows are employed by their clinic site and negotiate salaries and employment terms directly with the hiring clinic.
Prior to starting employment as a fellow, candidates are required to achieve the following steps:
- ANCC Board Certification, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Licensure to practice as an advanced practice nurse in the State of Ohio
