Advancing Orthopaedic Medicine Through Continuing Education Opportunities

At University Hospitals Department of Orthopaedics, we are dedicated to educating tomorrow’s orthopaedic surgeons through exceptional medical education programs. Our Orthopaedic Residency Program is one of the premier advanced training opportunities in the U.S., and hundreds of candidates apply every year. The program provides comprehensive training in all aspects of orthopaedics and our residents have access to nationally-recognized research programs and state-of-the-art facilities. The department also offers highly sought-after fellowships in several areas of concentration, including adult joint reconstruction, spinal surgery and pediatric orthopaedic surgery.

Working alongside some of the leading experts in the field, fellows are immersed in teaching, clinical and research aspects of their area of concentration. UH Department of Orthopaedics also hosts the Timothy Stephens Orthopaedic Fellowship, a program designed to strengthen the participation of underrepresented minority medical students in orthopaedics.
