Emergency Medicine Fellowship, Pediatric
The pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital is designed to fully prepare physicians for rewarding careers in pediatric emergency medicine. Our three-year program offers a robust, challenging clinical experience which enables fellows to progressively develop the knowledge base, skill set, confidence, and professional attributes needed to provide excellent care for acutely ill and injured children.
Through our training program, fellows are exposed to broad range of clinical, scholarly, teaching, administrative, and advocacy experiences. This exposure allows each of our fellows to build solid foundations for successful careers in pediatric emergency medicine. We partner with individuals entering our program to advance their education and experience in a manner that fits best with their specific career goals.
Trainees who complete our program are eligible to take the subspecialty board examination in pediatric emergency medicine. Our program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and accepts two fellows per year.
