Medical Education and Clinical Training Programs

We offer several residencies and fellowships accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), as well as advanced training programs to help further a physician’s personal, clinical and professional competence. Our leading physicians monitor the progress of each trainee, while providing personalized support and guidance.

ACGME Accredited Residency and Fellowship Programs
UH Cleveland Medical Center has 65 ACGME accredited residency and fellowship programs with an enrollment of over 800 residents and fellows.
Pediatric Residency and Fellowship Programs
The Center for Pediatric Education provides the administrative support for all resident, fellow, medical student, and faculty education at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.
Osteopathic Residency and Fellowship Programs
The Departments of Medical Education at UH Bedford and Richmond Medical Centers and UH Parma Medical Center support the osteopathic programs for the University Hospitals health system. UH Richmond Medical Center also supports the podiatric training program for the system.
Nurse Residency Program
Designed for new nurse graduates, our nurse residency program offers a unique educational model that combines enrichment experiences, hands-on learning, peer group discussions, and other professional development opportunities to help our nurses become well-rounded health care professionals.
